Alain has been intensively and continuously engaged for the last 40 years in humanitarian activities, serving as long term volunteer at Amnesty International in Hong Kong and in Taiwan and in Scouts & Youth movements in different roles and geographies (Asia and Europe). He has also been an active mentor and coach at multiple NGOs like Handicap International.

He also helped raising funds for impoverished kids programs and school set-ups in China and in the Philippines.

Alain works as a cross-border M&A consultant focusing on emerging markets. He lived in Singapore, Taipei, Hong Kong and currently resides in France.

He has been a board member of NMA since 2009.
