The All In Diary is a practical tool for field-based humanitarian workers. It incorporates 50 information pages, each covering key topics related to Principles of Humanitarian Practice, International Standards, Managing People and Projects and Working with Communities. In addition the diary pages are formatted for recording notes and observations to support staff handover, monitoring and real time evaluation. An accompanying CD incorporates the 50 information pages, with each linked to supplementary practical tools and resources, developed within the humanitarian sector. It describes itself meeting place for NGOs to discuss, debate and disseminate information on their work, strategies and results. It certainly holds quality information on a wide range of topics, combining more academic issues (for example debates on "what is an NGO") with practical hands-on information (see "how to kick-start an NGO"). Very much fun to browse as well. Well done!

Management resource center for health programme managers, but most of its content is relevant for all. Strong in these areas in particular: human resources, planning, finances. All solid, practitioner-oriented, tried-and-tested stuff.

- The Nonprofit FAQ
A good starting place for nuts-and-bolts management information. Accounting, board maangement, etc. Some of it is only relevant to the US: charters, tax exemtpion; however everybody will find something interesting here. A bit confusing to browse, but thats part of the experience!
